At Atelier Wu, we celebrate every bride’s soft, feminine allure with our range of couture wedding dresses.

Atelier Wu is based in Auckland, NZ, operated and owned by individuals with great passion for weddings.

With delicate floral detailing climbing down the arms and bodice on sheer nude netting, the look is ethereal and soft. She features a plunging neckline and thigh high slit which gives her a sultry touch. The layers of soft champagne tulle billows out from her full A-Line skirt. Long sleeves with pearl detailed cuffs elongate the arms. She really is a standout of the Ethereal collection and not likely to ever be forgotten.

Do you require an appointment?
Appointments are highly recommended during the week and required for the weekends (Friday/Saturday/Sunday). We are open to walk-ins Tuesday, Wednesdays, and Thursdays (hours are subject to change in the future).
What is your price range?
Our special order gowns range from $900-$3200 before tax and alterations. Most of our gowns fall between $1500-$2200.
What is trunk show?
A trunk show is a special event where we host a collection of gowns that we don’t usually have in store. Sometimes these gowns are being tested and are not yet released! Trunk shows usually have a discount of 10-15% off!
Will I need alterations?
Nearly all brides need alterations. We take your measurements and order your best size based on the size chart and arrange in-house alterations when your gown arrives. Our seamstress is the best in town and works magic!
When should I buy my wedding gown?
6-10 months before your wedding date is ideal to ensure a stress-free timeline. If you are on a shorter timeline, we have an off the rack section and rush options available. Wedding gowns are made to order and usually take 3-6 months to come in. Only off the rack options are available for weddings 6 weeks or less.
What sizes do your gowns come in?
Our gowns are available in a variety of sizes, with most available to order in sizes 0-28. We believe every bride should have the same unforgettable experience with a wide range of options to try on regardless of size! This is why in the shop, we have gowns to try on from sizes 6 to 28 with a majority sampled in sizes 10-16
What if a sample is not in my size?
Whether the gown is too big or too small, we have tricks and tools to show you how that gown would look in your correct size.
How many people can I bring to my appointment?
Less is more! Our viewing rooms comfortably seat 4 guests. We do have limited space as our store is very intimate and private. We will accommodate any party size, but just be aware it could potentially be close seating arrangements!
What is a sample sale?
A sample sale consists of floor sample gowns that are pulled off the floor and sold at a discount of 30-80% or more off retail pricing!
